In this section you set out the procedures for your wedding ceremony. This is moment when your agreed Marriage Contract comes into being.

Note that this is the twelfth numbered section, Section 12, of the Marriage Contract.

12.1 Marital Vows

Marriage vows are promises made by the bride and groom to each other during a wedding ceremony. In Western culture such vows typically include the following elememts:

  • Affection - love, comfort, keep
  • Faithfulness - forsaking all others
  • Unconditionality - for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, and
  • Permanence - as long as we both shall live or until death do us part.

You can chose to write your own wedding vows, rather than relying on samples created by others.
