Most contracts that deal with committed and intimate relationships - whether state marriage contracts, pre-nuptial contracts or post-nuptial contracts - tend to focus on one issue only: money.

We take a wider, more holistic and inclusive view of marriage, one that incorporates a wide range of dimensions that include financial matters but also a whole spectrum of others.

In this section of the Marriage Contract the couple set out what, in contract law, is known as the scope of the contract. A contract's scope is the range of topics and issues that the contract is intended to cover.

Note that this is the second numbered section, Section 2, of the Marriage Contract.
